Unfortunately, according to an article published by Teton Gravity, this is exactly what happened to two experienced skiers from British Columbia, Canada, on a visit to Glacier National Park. Margaret Elizabeth Hlushak and Matthew Charles Kotze recently received a hefty fine after accidentally breaking a crucial ban.

Yet the two should consider themselves lucky since the ban was put in place to protect visitors' safety. Despite violating the ban, the two didn’t report any injuries. Here is what happened and why the two skiers got fined.
