The Season 2 finale of “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” just revealed some major news that some fans did not see coming.

The "Wizards of Waverly Place" revival, which premiered in 2024, began with Selena Gomez's character, Alex Russo, taking Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown) to live with her brother, Justin (David Henrie) after she learned that the young wizard could be the one to save the world. In Justin’s care, Billie would be trained to hone her powers.

Over the course of two seasons, Billie’s family history was unknown. Then comes the shocking revelation in the Season 2 finale, revealing that Alex is her mom.
