Dolly Parton " ain't dead yet " even as health issues slow her work down, the singer said in a video Wednesday.

In the video posted to X on Oct. 8, Parton thanked fans for their prayers and reassured them she is still doing well, despite her health setbacks.

"I wanted to put everybody's mind at ease, those of you that seemed to be real concerned, which I appreciate, and I appreciate your prayers because I'm a person of faith, I can always use prayers for anything and everything but I want you to know that I'm OK," Parton said in the video.
