Srinagar, Oct 9: In a major anti-terror joint operation, security forces busted a terror hideout in the Brijthor Forest area of Warsun, district Kupwara, launched on October 8 by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police. Acting on specific intelligence input, the joint team recovered two AK series rifles, four rocket launchers, a large cache of ammunition, and other war-like stores.
The operation, named Op Warsun, marks a significant success in counter-terror efforts in North Kashmir. Officials confirmed that further investigation is underway to trace the network behind the hideout and assess possible cross-border links.
