Pat Lam is preparing to be without star summer signing Louis Rees-Zammit for the next few weeks due to injury in another huge blow to Bristol Bears ’ top four ambitions.

The Welsh international suffered ‘a foot sprain’ in Saturday’s 50-17 defeat away at Saracens and is now in a race against time to be available for Wales for the fast-approaching Autumn internationals.
