Saying "we've done monumental work tonight," Town Council President Joseph DePasquale happily brought to a close a special session of the body on Tuesday evening, Oct. 7, when it formally adopted a new tree planting plan for Burr's Hill Park.

DePasquale had reason to be especially jaunty at meeting's end after he along with peers Keri Cronin, the council vice president, and Derrik Trombley enacted the proposal since the notion to plant a grove, called an "arboretum," was his.
