“Bogus”, “…a digital footprint of criminal conspiracy”, “(there are) unimaginable errors”: these were the allegations that actor Karisma Kapoor’s children made regarding their father and late businessman Sunjay Kapur’s purported will in the Delhi High Court on Thursday.

The Kapur siblings — Samaira and Kiaan — are locked in an inheritance battle, primarily with Sunjay’s third wife Priya Kapur, over the personal assets of the former Sona Comstar chairman’s personal estate, claiming its share as Class-1 heirs or as immediate heirs.

The market cap of Sona Comstar is close to Rs 30,000 crore — 72% of its shares are held by the public, and 28% (Rs 8,200 crore) are held by Aureus Investments Private Limited (AIPL), its corporate promoter.
