We have a couple of famous birthdays with local ties to celebrate today. Musician Jackson Browne, who spent his childhood in the Abbey San Encino in Highland Park and as a young adult lived in the same Echo Park apartments as Glenn Frey and J.D. Souther , turns 77. And it's been 135 years since the birth of Sister Aimee Semple McPherson, who founded Angelus Temple in Echo Park back in 1923.
