HANNA CITY, Ill. – Spooky train rides, thrills and chills, ghosts and ghouls are all a part of “Wildlife Scary Park” in Hanna City each October.
Wildlife Prairie Park’s Roberta English says they’ve taken feedback from last year’s event, and added a new ADA spooky train car for easier access, and a carnival this year.
She tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan” that “Wildlife Scary Park” is for everyone.
“We want to bring out middle school kids, teenagers, and adults. We’re trying to keep them coming…not just when you have a little kid,” English says.
Wildlife Scary Park’s 40th season kicks off this weekend.
“It starts at 4 p.m. on Fridays, and noon on Saturdays and Sundays. It’s definitely more scary at night, so if your kids are less prone to liking scary things, come during the day,” English sa
