Spring has musically sprung at Brookfield Place with the return of WA Academy of Performing Arts’ free series of midday performances in October.
Presented at Brookfield Place Main Square on St George’s Terrace from 11.45am-1.15pm, the concert program features WAAPA student performances in genres from jazz and classical to contemporary.
Bachelor of Contemporary Music second-year voice student Lauren Marsden says the series is a welcome opportunity to gain confidence in the Perth music scene.
“It’s a great way to get yourself out there for not only the public to appreciate your talents but to make potential connections with people who may want to hire you in the future,” the 31-year-old Armadale resident says.
“We have an awesome set list in the works filled with songs anyone can enjoy,
