Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has sought elaborate security arrangements for its leader and actor Vijay’s proposed visit to Karur where he plans to meet the families of last month’s stampede victims.

This will be the first public appearance of the actor-turned-politician after the tragic turn of events at a rally in Karur that left 41 people, including women and children, dead and many others injured on September 27, 2025.
