PEKIN, Ill. – The head pastor of Peoria’s Riverside Community Church has been arrested for dissemination of harmful materials to a juvenile.

On Sunday, Pekin Police were notified of evidence related to the case. An investigation led to the arrest of 47-year-old Michael Ritchason for dissemination of Harmful Materials, a Class 4 Felon, on Wednesday.

Pekin Police Chief Seth Ranny says the investigation has been forwarded to the Tazewell County State’s Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
