A Queens jury last month convicted a 43-year-old East Elmhurst man in the gruesome murders of his mother, brother and younger sister at their family home in July 2023. Prosecutors said following the murders, Roscoe Danielson put the remains of his brother in black plastic trash bags and dragged them to a curbside outside his new home at 20-23 149th Street where they subsequently were recovered by police.

Danielson was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with physical evidence, multiple counts of concealment of a human corpse, endangering the welfare of a child, and other related crimes.

Prosecutors said police responding to a 911 call just before 2 p.m. on July 3, 2023, opened the bag and found the decomposing remains of Kyle Daniels
