The Strathcona Rusty Blades Hockey League (SRBHL), Strathcona County’s first 35-and-older men’s hockey league, began its inaugural season Monday, Sept. 29, at the Moyer Recreation Centre in Josephburg. Article content

The league, created in memory of beloved community member Archie Smith, who died in June 2024 after a year-long battle with colon cancer, consists of six teams playing Monday nights starting at 8 p.m. through mid-March.
