At the second edition of the News9 Global Summit Germany , Gunnar Mey, CEO of Baden-Württemberg International GmbH, underscored his state’s growing economic and academic ties with Maharashtra, calling for greater Indian participation in the region’s innovation ecosystem.

Speaking at a session titled “Baden-Württemberg – Maharashtra Precursor,” Mey said the organisation has been instrumental in nurturing this partnership for more than a decade. “What we do in detail includes providing scientific access, facilitating academic and economic cooperation, organising delegations, and welcoming both inbound and outbound missions,” he explained.
