As ineffective as Penn State’s offense was early in the Nittany Lions’ 42-37 loss to UCLA last Saturday, the unit was clicking during the final 30 minutes.
PSU (3-2, 0-2) scored three touchdowns in the second half against the Bruins, and the Lions’ offense must find a way to be more effective in the first half vs. Northwestern (3-2, 1-1) on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium.
In Penn State’s losses to Oregon and UCLA, the offense has scored a total of 10 points.
