The Colorado women’s basketball team has been projected for a ninth-place finish in the Big 12 after a vote by conference coaches, while senior Jade Masogayo has been honored individually.

Coming off a 21-13 season in 2024-25 in which they placed ninth, the Buffs have a rebuilt roster that includes 10 newcomers. The Buffs open their season Nov. 6 against New Mexico at 6 p.m. at the CU Events Center.

Defending regular season and conference tournament champion TCU was projected as the league champ again. The Horned Frogs received 10 of 16 first-place votes and 219 points overall. Iowa State (two first-place votes, 202 total points), Baylor (two, 200), Oklahoma State (two, 186) and West Virginia (161 points) round out the top five.
