WASHINGTON -- Arizona’s two Democratic senators confronted Republican Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday over his refusal to swear in Arizona Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, a day after he offered to do so “as soon as she wants” and then immediately backtracked.
“Stop covering up for the pedophiles,” Sen. Ruben Gallego told the speaker during the nearly 6-minute clash, referring to the fact that Grijalva will provide the final signature needed to force a House vote on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. Copy article link
