Bus operator Ember has announced a new route, connecting Glasgow to Inverness.
The E8 service to the Highland Capital will launch on Wednesday October 22, and include stopes in Aviemore, Dalwhinnie, Pitlochry, Perth and Dunblane.
The electric bus firm will be running 12 return services a day, seven days a week - perfect for those looking to get away for winter sports, hill walking, climbing, biking or simply to commute.
Three of the services will be non stop between the two cities, with departure times making day trips for punters possible.
Journey times will be as low as three hours and 17 minutes, faster than any other method of public transport, according to the firm.
A single to Inverness will cost £19 if you book online, whether that's weeks ahead or just before departure. You ca
