Football fans will have another option when it comes to the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Turning Point USA, a grassroots political action network founded by the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, announced plans for an “All-American Halftime Show” on Feb. 8.
Organizers view the event as a celebration of “faith, family and freedom” and an alterative to the NFL’s official halftime show featuring Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny.
Few details about the show have been announced, but there is a website that says more information is forthcoming. There’s also a survey form where people can select from several genres of music they would like to see featured.
Options include americana, classic rock, country, hip hop, pop, worship and notably, “anything in English.”
