A woman has been charged with murder in Texas for the fatal shooting of another woman who called her out for not saying “thank you.”

Keona Zachyua Hampton, 22, allegedly shot 41-year-old Cecilia Simpson multiple times in the parking lot outside a PetSmart store in Dallas on Tuesday.

The deadly encounter happened after Simpson reportedly held the door open for Hampton as they were leaving a Five Below store, KDFW reported.

When Hampton didn’t thank Simpson, who was with her daughter, police say the two began arguing, according to the arrest affidavit obtained by the outlet.

Simpson and her daughter drove to the shopping center’s PetSmart where they told employees Hampton was allegedly following them.
