That’s the answer, through a wry smile, Indiana basketball coach Darian DeVries gave when asked during Big Ten media day Thursday whether he ever got a detailed bill for the round of drinks he bought at the Upstairs Pub last week.

It stands now as the most memorable moment thus far in DeVries' burgeoning tenure, the kind of easy fan-facing win his predecessors far too often passed up. He's just not giving up that final tab.
