The father of the Manchester synagogue terrorist has issued a new statement calling for unity in the wake of the attack a week on.
On the morning of October 2, Syrian-born Brit Jihad Al-Shamie carried out the atrocity on Heaton Park Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall, by driving his vehicle at Jewish worshippers before attacking them with knives.
Two people lost their lives - Adrian Daulby, 53, and 66-year-old Melvin Cravitz - and four more were injured. Al-Shamie was shot dead by armed police.
