KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A recent Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee will be at Arrowhead Stadium this weekend to serve as the Drum Honoree.

Former Chiefs defensive end Jared Allen will bang the drum prior to kickoff of Kansas City’s Sunday Night Football matchup with the Detroit Lions.

Allen, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer, accrued 43 sacks with the Chiefs but starred with the Minnesota Vikings after leaving Kansas City. He had 85.5 sacks with the Vikings.

His first of five Pro Bowl seasons came in 2007 with the Chiefs. He began his career in Kansas City in 2004.
