The holiday season is almost here, and with Autumn fully underway , many folks are preparing for the busiest time of year.

But with Thanksgiving getting closer , there’s more to prepare for than a feast — especially if you’re the one commuting .

The Old Farmer’s Almanac has released its forecast for Thanksgiving 2025, which falls on Nov. 27.

And though the weather sometimes shifts, The Old Farmer’s Almanac offers a pretty good prediction, boasting a 80% accuracy rate since about 1792.

“Thanksgiving week 2025 brings a patchwork of weather across the U.S., with sunshine in much of the East and rainy conditions in the West,” The Almanac predicts.
