FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A First Alert Weather Day is in effect for Friday morning as low temperatures could get close to freezing and end the growing season for some locations. The highest probability of seeing temperatures in the 32-34º range would be away from the milder influence of Lake Michigan (so far NE Indiana and much of NW Ohio).

After sunrise our ‘Alert Day’ comes to an end as high temperatures rise to around 70º.

This weekend will be sunny and mild with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, with low to mid 70s likely Monday and Tuesday of next week before highs coast back to the 60s.
