Charges against a Warren teen linked to the shooting of another teen in the abdomen in Eastpointe have been dismissed because the victim was unwilling to testify against him, according to prosecutors.

Joshua Dismuke, 17, was charged as an adult with attempted murder, discharging a firearm in a building, and multiple other charges in connection with a July 22 shooting in the 24000 block of Kelly Road. Three people were seen fleeing the scene, prosecutors said after charges were issued in August, but only Dismuke was charged.

Police alleged Dismuke shot a man at a residence where the teen and other individuals gathered to make a music video.

All those charges were dismissed Sept. 30.
