Mehdi Hasan , the former MSNBC host and founder of Zeteo, sparked a bevy of less-than-flattering replies this week after marveling at having retweeted Candace Owens , Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).

“Today I have retweeted Candace Owens and MTG. And now I am retweeting Matt Gaetz. What’s happening to the world?” Hasan wrote on X, adding:
