SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Another quantum computing company is moving to Illinois. Pasqal will establish its U.S. headquarters at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park in Chicago.

The French tech company plans to invest more than $65 million and create 50 full-time jobs for the future headquarters. Gov. JB Pritzker said this move will help power the next generation of discovery and economic growth in Illinois.

"It is the anchor of the quantum ecosystem in France and throughout the rest of Europe," Pritzker said Thursday. "Its customers include giants in aerospace, energy, defense and technology like BMW, Siemens and LG."
