The Economic Development Corporation Michigan City led developers on a tour to highlight projects changing the city's skyline and image during Developer Day in a bid to lure more investment.
More than 50 developers, investors and business leaders took a bus tour through the city Wednesday to see construction sites including the 12-story, $101 million Franklin at 11th Street Station high-rise and the sites of future projects like the 14-story, $305 million SoLa resort-style hotel and condo development along the Lake Michigan lakefront. The developers came from throughout Northwest Indiana and greater Chicagoland as well as Indianapolis and Southwest Michigan.
