FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (WKRN) — The ongoing government shutdown has come with plenty of unintended consequences, and Fort Campbell High School had to pay the price by pausing its football season.
At Fort Campbell, the high school football team was forced to cancel its games and practices. However, they've since been able to reschedule them.
Sports were paused for several days at Fort Campbell due to the government shutdown. Sports, like football and girls' volleyball, suffered the consequences as games were postponed or set to be cancelled.
