HAMMOND — State Rep. Carolyn Jackson, D-Hammond, is hosting a town hall-style meeting Saturday to discuss issues impacting senior citizens and Medicaid recipients.

The free event is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the community room at the Hammond Public Library, 564 State St.

Jackson will be joined by Cori Mathis, an elder law and Medicaid attorney, to highlight recent Medicaid changes, provide resources and answer questions so people don't lose access to health care or other services due to paperwork errors.
