MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) - The City of Menasha is kicking off its first-ever Project Front Porch in hopes of creating an everlasting tradition of caring connections for the future.

Supported by Mayor Austin Hammond and other officials, the release to announce the official program said the following:

"We are in this together, for the long haul."

The program and event are designed to help residents with their landscaping work, cleaning up porches to show a love and genuine connection with the community.

The program, according to a release, is supposed to serve as a reminder that community isn't about where people live, but how they live with each other.
