Fashion, food, art, and music are all on display in Oakland this week for the city’s third annual Style Week.

Oakland Style Week is working to uplift every part of Oakland. Among those involved is celebrity designer and fashion producer Mario Burton. He’s helping curate a fashion show where over 30 models will take the runway.

“It’s so much talent and creativity right here in Oakland, and we want to showcase that this weekend,” he said. “We want to show that Oakland fashion, style is right here in Oakland and in the Bay Area.”

In addition to a living runway, Liberation Park will also feature six districts celebrating Oakland’s designers, communities, and food — all part of the immersive free fashion function event.
