New Delhi : Pakistan launched several airstrikes on Afghanistan’s capital Kabul on Thursday night. The attacks came just hours after Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that his country will not tolerate the alleged “safe havens” operating within the country (Afghanistan). He said “enough is enough”.

According to a report in the Pakistani media, Afghan Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed a blast, saying that the sound of an explosion was heard in the city of Kabul but there were no reports of any damage.

The blasts in Kabul com a a time when the foreign minister of the country, Amir Khan Muttaqi is on an official visit to India. He is set to meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in Delhi on Friday. Muttaqi arrived in Delhi on a 6-day visit to India.
