COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three men were charged in a shooting on state Route 161 last year in northeast Franklin County that left a 19-year-old man paralyzed, according to the county prosecutor’s office.
On Oct. 8, 20-year-old Saadik Hussein and 22-year-old Liban Guleed, both of Columbus, were each indicted on four counts of attempted murder, four counts of felonious assault with firearm and drive-by shooting specifications and one count of discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises, a release from Franklin County Prosecutor Shayla Favor's office says.
A third suspect, 19-year-old Yahya Abdirizak, of Grove City, pleaded guilty on Sept. 17 to three counts of felonious assault in the shooting.
It is unclear at this time when the suspects were arrested and initially charged.
