The United States has imposed sanctions on over 50 individuals, companies, and ships linked to Iran’s energy trade, saying the move will cut off funding for Tehran’s alleged terrorist activities.
The latest wave of restrictions, announced by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on Thursday, also ropes in three Indian nationals accused of helping Iran sell oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) through complex global networks.
