Health speaker series will focus on vaccines

Indiana University Fort Wayne will host Dr. Thomas Gutwein, Allen County health commissioner, for its upcoming Voices for Health Speaker Series from noon to 1 p.m. Monday in Neff Hall, Room 101, on the IU Fort Wayne campus.

The public is invited to hear Gutwein, a longtime emergency physician, talk about the importance of staying healthy and keeping immunizations up to date. The event is being presented in partnership with Super Shot.

A Super Shot clinic also will be set up on campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday for those who want to receive flu shots.
