Visitors to the Children's Library at the Santa Maria Public Library can now explore new computer systems designed to provided children ages 2–12 a safe, engaging, and educational digital experience; thanks to a donation from the Friends of the Santa Maria Public Library .
The purchase of new AWE Learning Computers was made possible through the combined generosity of $9,600 from the Edwin and Jeanne Woods Family Foundation and $7,000 from the Friends.
According to the Friends, this funding enables an important investment in providing early learning technology for the community’s youngest readers.
