Lovers of cycling and those thinking of giving it a try are encouraged to put the pedal to the metal this month for Bike Month.
Bike Month is held each year in October and encourages people of all ages and abilities to ride bikes for transport, fun and a healthier lifestyle.
As part of Bike Month, the City of Fremantle and Town of East Fremantle will be holding a Tour de Freo on Sunday, October 12, from 8am to noon.
It will include a morning of cycling and all things bicycles, including free bike safety checks, coffees, prizes and a family scavenger hunt.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about e-bikes, cargo bikes and local bike shops.
Cycling enthusiasts can also pre-book one of two guided rides with People on Bicycles.
