Actor and bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman died on Thursday after a heart attack. He was 41. Varinder had built his brand around being a ‘vegetarian bodybuilder’ on social media, and was passionate about the same. He had also appeared in a few films, including Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan.

Varinder’s manager Yadvinder Singh told PTI that the actor was suffering from shoulder pain and had gone to a hospital in Amritsar. The late actor’s nephew Amanjot Singh Ghuman shared with reporters in Jalandhar that Varinder had a heart attack later in the evening.

Apart from Tiger 3, Varinder had also appeared in films like Roar: Tigers of Sundarbans, Marjaavan and Kabaddi Once Again. Varinder first stepped into the spotlight after he won the Mr India title in 2009, and became the first runner-up
