JAMESTOWN — Hannah Attleson hadn't set a volleyball since her eighth grade season.
But now, the junior is the starting setter for the Jamestown High School volleyball team and it is working out just fine for the Blue Jays.
With the help of Attleson's 22 assists, 17 digs, 2 blocks and 1 ace, the Blue Jays picked up their eighth conference win of the season on Thursday, sweeping Dickinson 28-26, 25-15, 25-15.
Head coach Sara Hegerle and company will be taking a road trip to Fargo this weekend for the Fargo Public Schools Invite. The invite is scheduled to be held Friday and Saturday. Jamestown's next conference action is set for Tuesday against Bismarck Legacy. First serve between the Jays and Sabers is set for 7 p.m. at Legacy High School.
