The Kerala Legislative Assembly experienced its fourth consecutive day of uproar on Thursday from the opposition over the Sabarimala gold-plating controversy, resulting in the suspension of three opposition MLAs following a scuffle in the House. The motion for their suspension, moved by Parliamentary Affairs Minister MB Rajesh, was passed by the Assembly.

The suspended MLAs include Congress leaders Roji M. John, M. Vincent, and Sanish Kumar Joseph.
