A global logistics company has announced plans to hire hundreds of seasonal workers to support an anticipated surge in demand during peak season.
Geodis plans to hire 4,600 seasonal workers, including 950 people in Pennsylvania.
The company is hiring people for a variety of seasonal positions, including material handlers and equipment operators, across 11 of its campuses in the United States and Canada.
Two of the facilities in Pennsylvania where Geodis is hiring seasonal workers are in Cumberland County at 939 Centerville Road in Penn Township, near Newville, and at 70 Logistics Drive in South Middleton Township, near Carlisle.
