Quincy Pearson’s late goal was all Union Catholic needed to take down Hillside 1-0 in Hillside.

After a quiet first half, Pearson found the game-winning goal with an assist from Jack Spagnolo as Union Catholic snagged its fourth win of the season.

Union Catholic goalie Ryan Farago logged five saves in a shutout.

Union Catholic (4-7-2) travels to Union Oct. 14 with a start time not yet set. Hillside (3-7) travels to New Providence 4 p.m. Oct. 13.
