LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a barricade in the central valley involving an armed man.

It happened in a neighborhood near Oakey Boulevard and Rancho Drive on Thursday night.

Police told 8 News Now the armed man was refusing to leave the home.

A SWAT team was also called in to assist the police.

No other information has been released.
