New Delhi [India], October 10 (ANI): Asserting that the UPA government, post 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, took a "strategic" decision, Congress MP Manish Tewari said that the government at that time deliberately ensured that Pakistan was isolated from the mainstream geo-political scenario.
Tewari made these remarks amid the controversy stirred up following Chidambaram's (former home minister) remarks that retaliation had crossed his mind, but the government chose to exercise restraint under global pressure.
