BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bowling Green Parks and Recreation is in the process of creating a 10-year master plan that will be filled with ideas for renovations and new community-approved additions.
To make the master plan, they asked the community for feedback on what could be improved or certain things they considered necessary for the town to have.
Parks Planner Haley Parrett described a popular recommendation from the feedback that was gathered.
“Some of those themes were fostering natural spaces, so adding more trees and shades to our park, as well as walking trails and nature centers, said Parrett. ”It was in addition it also mentioned our need for new indoor facilities to grow with our impending growing population."
