Ben Lyons found the back of the net in both halves of East Brunswick’s match against Sayreville to supply all the offense his team needed to earn a 2-0 victory in Group D pool play of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament in Parlin.

Mateo De la Cruz and Lamine Ndao each recorded an assist.

Aiden Hanas made four saves in goal to record the shutout for East Brunswick (7-7).

Sayreville drops to 6-6 and will face a quick turnaround ahead of its return to play on Friday against Noor-ul-iman.
