LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- In 2024, the CBA football team completed its sectional championship four-peat in Class AA with a win over Shaker in the Section 2 title game. The two sides will meet for the first time since last year's Super Bowl Friday night in the 1st & 10 "Game of the Week".

CBA enters this contest ranked 19th in the state. The Brothers are the lone unbeaten team in Class AA league play. They improved their league record to 3-0 last week with a dominant, 35-14 win over Shenendehowa.

On the other side, Shaker maintains a 2-1 league mark, owning wins over Colonie and Albany that bracketed a loss to Saratoga Springs.

It's been a similar story for Shaker in each of those three contests. The Blue Bison have gotten off to slow starts, but have found a way to get things going later
